Antique Art Deco platinum shield shaped ring centering an approximately 0.25 ct. Old Mine cut diamond in a geometrically styled setting. The center diamond is flanked by tapered calibre cut synthetic blue sapphires on each side. Please note -- the sapphires are heavily chipped and abraded. This is not very noticeable unless you are looking under magnification.
The rest of the 1920s design is adorned with ten additional Old Mine cut and single cut diamonds in delicately pierced milgrain edged settings. One of the diamonds is heavily chipped. The rest are in good shape despite some small nicks.
The ring is a size 7.5 and can be sized. Overall it is in good condition, but well worn. It still has plenty of years left of wear despite the chipped stones. The ring has a nice presence and remains very beautiful.
The face of the ring measures 16.2mm top to bottom. The shoulders taper from 7mm to 1.5mm at the base of the shank.
