Antique Gold Filled Art Nouveau Question Mark Paste Locket / ca. 1910s
Antique gold filled Art Nouveau locket featuring a question mark accented with "paste" rhinestones framing the silhouette of an elegant woman, a classic Art Nouveau feminine motif. Embossed flowers also highlight the ethereal design. The locket is plain on the verso. It is in very good condition for its age with only minimals scuffs and scratches. The inside of the locket does have some discoloration. There is a plastic insert on one side to hold a photo. It closes with a firm snap.
The locket measures 1-1/4" wide x 1-1/2" tall. It hangs from an 18" gold filled rectangular box chain.
