Antique Victorian solid 10k yellow gold oval shaped locket with a beautiful pastoral scene etched on the front with delicate, skilled hand engraving. This locket was originally attached to a gold pocket watch chain with various fobs. The inside of the locket is slightly tarnished and discolored from oxidation over the years. The back of the locket has some small dents and scratches (see photos). Otherwise it is in very good condition and closes with a firm snap. The small beads on the edges can be used to open and close the hinged piece.
The locket measures 1'“ tall including the bail x 1/2” wide.
