Striking antique Victorian solid 14k yellow gold hardstone cameo ring featuring a beautifully hand carved figure of an elegant woman. The cameo is secured with a bezel setting atop a substantial, tapered setting. The face of the ring measures 8.7 mm top to bottom. The shoulders measure 7.5 mm tapering to 2.5mm at the base. The ring is a size 8-8.25 and can be sized.
It is in very good condition for its age, but does have some surface wear including scuffs and scratches. There are subtle lines on the shoulders of the ring indicating that it was re-shanked at some point in its life. The ring is substantial and has many years left of wear!
